Accessibility statement

Our commitment

The Rowlands Castle Village Fair Committee wants everyone in our community to be able to use this website easily, whatever their ability or technology.
We aim to make our site as accessible as possible and to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard.

This accessibility statement applies to the Rowlands Castle Village Fair website for the current year. It does not contain information about accessibility of the village fair itself.

How accessible this website is

We’ve designed the site so that:

  • text is clear and can be resized
  • pages are well-structured and compatible with screen readers
  • colours and contrast meet accessibility standards
  • most of the site can be navigated using a keyboard or voice commands

We’re aware that some areas may still need improvement, such as:

  • older PDF or image-based documents (e.g. past Fair programmes or posters)
  • occasional images that may lack alternative (alt) text
  • video or audio content that may not yet have captions or transcripts

We’re working to address these issues over time.
